An Italian Inspired Celebration at Crane Cottage | A Jekyll Island Club Wedding

A luxurious Italian inspired wedding at Crane Cottage on Jekyll Island, where old world elegance, thoughtful details, and magical coastal scenery set the stage for an unforgettable celebration.

Designed by Emily Burton, this luxurious and detail rich wedding at the Jekyll Island Club was nothing short of transportive. Set against the iconic backdrop of Crane Cottage, guests could easily be forgiven for thinking they had stepped into the countryside of Italy rather than the coast of Georgia. Sweeping oak trees, Spanish moss, and deep green natural hues created a setting that felt timeless, romantic, and utterly magical.

Autumn and Blake intentionally leaned into their love of Italy throughout the design, weaving in thoughtful details that reflected European elegance and old world charm. From patterned linens and fedora accents to layered textures and warm, inviting tones, every element felt curated yet effortless. The celebration was full of delightful surprises, including a live painter, a hand-rolled cigar artist, and one unforgettable highlight. Fedora wearing beer burros, miniature donkeys serving ice-cold beverages and cocktails to guests, quickly became a crowd favorite and a moment no one will soon forget.

Autumn looked absolutely stunning in her gown from Love Bridal Boutique, featuring a custom cathedral length lace veil and bespoke accent sleeves finished with delicate white buttons. The florals by Shae Hopely were the perfect complement to the natural beauty of Jekyll Island, blending lush greenery with refined, organic textures that enhanced the coastal landscape rather than competing with it.

As the evening came to a close, Autumn and Blake made their grand exit in a vintage cherry red car that once belonged to Autumn’s mother, a sentimental and stylish ending to an unforgettable celebration on the Georgia coast.
